Peak Physical Therapy expanded their practice into the adjoining tenant space in their building. SONGER architecture inc was trusted with the design of the expansion. Reflecting the fresh and innovative approach of Peak Physical Therapy’s practice, and incorporating existing 1960s building elements, SAinc created a space that is functional and welcoming—without feeling clinical.
Key design elements include: improved wayfinding for clients, enhanced barrier-free movement throughout the building, clear definition of public areas and private client spaces, and the addition of a large, light-filled gym. The design reinforces Peak’s branding through colour, materials, signage, and lighting. Phased construction allowed Peak to remain open throughout the renovation.
