Petris Liquor located in North Lethbridge had outgrown its existing store and was looking to expand. SAinc presented a series of expansion strategies and the owners determined the best direction was to double their current sales floor space and take over the three adjacent bays.

It was key that SAinc approach the renovation in a way that both encouraged new customers while still remaining comfortable and welcoming to its existing clientele. The exterior needed to tie together the newly combined bays into a cohesive new storefront. This was done through a series of 4 different coloured fiber cement panels which alternated directions. The 2:1 ratio panels are translated on the interior through the flooring with a softer play on the exterior colours. The resulting exterior and interior enlivened the store while creating seamless expansion through the combined spaces.
